RINGO STARR AN ETERNAL STARR

I have always loved the photo of Ringo Star listening to a seashell on the beach. It's one of my favourite photos of Ringo Starr The Eternal Starr!

I want to thank a Photobucket member for this photo of Ringo Starr that I've used as a banner on this website. Also, thank you to Maria Del Sol a friend of mine for giving me Ringo Starr images to use for this Ringo Starr Eternal Starr site.

Happy Holidays to all visitors to this website. Please feel free to leave your comments.

I forget the exact year, was it 65
that the Beatles were playing Shea Stadium. I was working for Time Mag. as a copy Boy. Off to lunch with
Penny. We thought it would be fun
to see where the Beatles were staying; two blocks from the Time Life building. After lunch we walked by the Hotel. I knew I looked somewhat like Ringo, I had the Beatles hair and all.I heard screaming "Ringo, Paul" and turned to see a hundred girls running at us. I was scared. They wanted a piece of me. I jumped into the hotels revolving doors but the Big cop pushed me out. When the girls
rushed again he took me by arm and back in the hotel and out through the Drug store. Later I heard that is how the Beatles also left. Fun days being caught up with realized hope, and being high on Beatles music.
Again thanks for the memories, and the kind note.

I love reading your stories sealharvey. Very impressive that you worked for Time Magazine! Yes I'll bet if you resembled Ringo and your friend Penny looked like Paul you must have had a lot of girls screaming and chasing after you. Did you resemble Ringo just because of your hairstyle or did you look a lot like him back in the 1960's? You are welcome for the walk down memory lane. This Ringo Starr Eternal Starr blogspot is my labour of love. I sure do appreciate all your comments!!

Oh Penny was a lovely lady.
Yes I believe I did look like Ringo except taller. I have a couple other
tidbits and as I remember them I'll pass them on.

Thanks for the site,
and your appreciation.

I love reading your stories very much sealharvey. You must be a very dashing man since you resemble Ringo Starr. I think he looks great at 68 and I'm amazed he is still performing. Are you still working with Time Magazine?

You are very welcome for this site. As I said it's my labour of love. It is my tribute to Ringo Starr, The Beatles, and Julian Lennon.

Happy Sunday to you and Happy Holidays!!

Hi Tina,

No longer working at Time.

Here is one of my favorite memories.
I was living in the Haight, that
is San Francisco, and was up all night celebrating. We were at my friends apartment on Haight and Ashbury. As the Sun was coming up
I could hear a bit of Music. As the music got louder I was surprised to realize the music was coming from outside. All you Need Was Love was being broadcast off a flat bed truck, moving through the street. It could not be more perfect. All felt so right.
The music was as perfect as the sun coming up.

Hi Seal Harvey,

What a beautiful story about Haight Ashbury and hearing The Beatles famous song "All You Need Is Love" being broadcast as the sun was coming up. I love all of the old Beatles songs myself such as "Eight Days A Week" "She Loves You" "Twist and Shout" and more!

The Fab Four added so much to the world of Music.

Thank you so much for your lovely stories they are appreciated and add a lot to this Ringo Starr and The Beatles Blog I've created here!

Happy Holidays to you!

Tina
